I am a Heard County resident and a graduate of Heard County High School.  My family and I live in the Ephesus community.  We are actively involved at North Point Baptist Church in Carrollton where I teach 1st - 3rd grade Sunday School and sing in the choir. My husband, Mike, and I have been married 35 years and have three daughters and 2 son-in-laws, Pamela Hickman(Ryan) (Birmingham, AL); Caitlin Mabe(Caleb) (Wilmington, NC); and Morgan Thompson (Franklin).  Pamela teaches Computer Science at Vestavia Hills High School in Birmingham, Caitlin works in IT at the University of N Carolina-Wilmington, and Morgan teaches at Madras Middle School, Newnan.  Our son David passed away in December 2006. He played varsity football and wrestled.  His football jersey #51 was retired and is on display in the field house.
